RURAL FRIENDS.
The launch of a weekly service to bring older neighbours together at the Hub.
The June 2023 announcement introduced Thursday morning minibus visits for senior citizens living in BS26. Passengers were collected from home, brought to the café for company and refreshments, then taken home.
Transport was offered free, with passengers paying for their food and drink. The Trust asked readers to share the news with people who might not use the internet.
