National Association for Children of Alcoholics, Bristol
August, 2007It gives me great pleasure to write to congratulate you on raising the profile of children of alcohol-dependant parents through events in your wonderful gardens. The money you raise for us is important — as a charity relying entirely on voluntary donations, we could not exit without the financial help of people like you — but to see Wavering Down gardens filled with people enjoying themselves and supporting this charity and these exceptionally vulnerable children is the most incredible gift. The warmth of welcome emanating from the gardens is in no small part due to you and your passion for helping these hidden vicitims of alcoholism. I also write to say how pleased I am that you and the gardens have been recognised by HRH the Duchess of Cornwall. I hope this will ensure more publicity for your fabulous events and entice more people to experience the beautiful setting and the truly friendly atmosphere. Thank you for the very kind invitation to visit you on October 07, 2007, to receive a cheque for £500.00. I very much look forward to seeing you again and everyone here joins me in thanking you for your continued support.

I am writing on behalf of everyone here at NACOA to say thank you so much for the £174.20 which you donated to NACOA following the very successful events which you held during 2006. We sincerely hope that you will include NACOA in your fundraising efforts during 2007.

Re: Jazz In The Garden
I am just writing on behalf of us all at NACOA to say what a fabulous evening we had on August 05 and to thank you most sincerely for all the hard work and effort you must have put into what was a truly brilliant event.
It is so good to know that there are people such as yourself who are prepared to put themselves out in order to raise awareness and funds for charities such as ours. It is so very much appreciated. Once again, on behalf of us all at NACOA and the thousands of children using our services, very many thanks.
