This will be the inaugural run of what the Frankie Howerd Trust intends to become an annual Bath to Weston-super-Mare charity classic vehicle event. At some point on the route it will always pass Frankie Howerd's former home in recognition of the great comedian and the work he did for charity. Drivers whose entries are accepted this year will automatically receive a priority invitation to the future years' event.
Each year it is hoped to have a celebrity entry from the world of entertainment.
For the £25 registration fee drivers will receive a special car registration plaque, a certificate and photograph of their car in the event, a route book and a complimentary fish/pie & chips lunch for the driver at the new Grand Pier. At Puxton Park tea will be available if required (not included) and an auction of celebrity items will take place in aid of the Frankie Howerd Trust Charities.
